1/3 cup real maple syrup
1/3 cup packed light brown sugar
4 tsp vanilla
1/2 tsp salt
A sprinkle of cinnamon
1/2 cup vegetable oil
5 cups old fashioned rolled oats
2 cups raw almonds chopped coarse by hand
1 cup dried cranberries chopped by hand
Anything els you like! Dried cherries? Pecans?

Adjust oven rack to middle top position and preheat to 325º
Line sheet pan with parchment paper, I use a half sheet
Whisk syrup, sugar, vanilla and oil. Whisk in oil. Fold in oats and almonds and fruit and cinnamon
Spread out evenly on sheet and press down firmly. Should be about 1/2" deep.
Make for 35-40 minutes turning pan once.
Let cool on pan for an hour
