1/2 c Shortening
1 c Sugar
1 c Brown Sugar
2 Eggs, beaten
2 1/2 c Flour
1 tsp. Baking Soda
1 tsp. Baking Powder
1/2 tsp. Salt
3 c Apple Slices,
1 c Milk
1 tsp. Cinnamon

Directions:
Directions:
Cream shortening and sugars
Add egg and cream together
Add rest of dry ingredients then milk and lastly the apples
Topping:
Melt 2 tbsp. butter, mix in 1/2 c brown sugar, 2 tsp. cinnamon, and 2 tbsp. flour and nuts. Put on batter and bake at 350º

No note on how long to bake on this one. These cakes usually take awhile, like 1 hour at least. But you will have to watch and test with a toothpick.
