1 cup Oleo or Butter
1 c Vegetable Oil (3/4 cup)
1 c White Sugar
1 c Powdered Sugar
2 Eggs
1 tsp. Vanilla
4 c Flour
1 tsp. Salt
1 tsp. Cream of Tartar
1 tsp. Baking Soda

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375º
Sift dry ingredients together
Cream butter, oil and sugars together, add eggs and vanilla
Add sifted ingredients to creamed ingredients.
Chill dough and form in balls, place on ungreased cookie sheet and sprinkle with sugar
Bake in oven until done

This dough is soft, so I use about 3/4 cup of oil
