1 quart Sauerkraut
1 cup diced celery
1/2 cup onion, chopped
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup salad oil
1/2 cup red and green peppers, chopped

Directions:
Directions:
Drain some of or all of the liquid off the sauerkraut. Add the rest of the ingredients. Mix well.
Refrigerate overnight or at least 4 hours before severing.

Use only bagged or glass jar brands of sauerkraut as the tinned canned ones have a metallic after taste. Maybe, that is why you never liked sauerkraut when your Mom fixed it for you.
