3 cup flour
1 cup shortening
1 1/2 cup brown sugar
1/4 tsp salt
2 pkg butterscotch chips
3 Tbsp butter
3 Tbsp water
1/2 cup white syrup
3 cup salted peanuts

Directions:
Directions:
Mix flour, brown sugar, and salt. Mix in shortening cutting it in. Press in a jelly roll pan and bake for 10 minutes at 350º. Melt butterscotch chips, butter, water, and white syrup. When chips are melted add peanuts. Spread on baked crust as soon as you remove it from the oven then return to the oven and bake for 8 minutes. Loosen edges before cooling. Cut when cool.
