1 1/2 c. whole wheat flour
1/4 c. plus 2 T. sugar
1 package dry yeast
1 t. salt
1/2 c. milk
1/2 c. water
1/4 c. margarine
1 egg
2 - 2 1/4 c. flour

Directions:
Directions:
In bowl, mix whole wheat flour, sugar, yeast and salt. Heat milk, water and margarine to 120* - 130*, add to flour mixture. Beat in egg and blend well. Gradually stir in white flour to form a soft ball. Turn onto floured board. Knead. Rise till double. Shape into 12 balls and place in greased pan (9"x9"). Cover, let rise. Bake at 400* for 15 - 20 minutes. 1 dozen
