1/2 c. sugar
2 T. maple syrup
1 c. milk
1 c. flour
1 1/3 c. cornmeal
3 T. bacon fat, melted
1 t. salt
4 t. baking powder

Stir all ingredients together until well mixed and put into greased muffin tins or 8"x8" pan. Bake at 375*
