4 pounds beef sirloin cut into strips
garlic powder
1/4 cup + 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
2 beef bouillon cubes
1/2 cup hot water
2 tablespoons cornstarch
1 large onion, chopped
4 large green peppers, chopped
28 oz stewed tomatoes with juices
1/4 cup + 2 tablespoons soy sauce
2 teaspoons white sugar

1. In a large bowl, in batches, mix a handful of the beef strips in garlic powder. In a medium heat frying pan, heat the oil and brown the strips. Once browned, transfer to slow cooker. Continue with remainder of beef strips.
2. In a medium bowl, mix bouillon cubes with hot water, then add cornstarch. Pour into slow cooker. Stir in onion, peppers, stewed tomatoes, soy sauce, and sugar.
3. Cook on low 6-8 hours.

For this recipe, I’ve amended it so there are plenty of leftovers. This serves approximately 10 people.
Note that I’ve omitted salt from this recipe as I feel there is plenty of salt from the soy sauce.
