1 c. butter
1 - 3 oz pkg cream cheese
1 c. sugar
1 egg yolk
1 1/4 tsp. vanilla
2. 1/4 c. sifted all purpose flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. baking pd

Directions:
Directions:
Blend butter and room temp cream cheese until well mixed. Cream in sugar gradually. Add egg yolk and vanilla. Sift together dry ingredients and add in 3 or 4 parts blending thoroughly after each addition. Form cookies on ungreased cookie sheet. I usually make them into a ball no larger than an inch and a half in diameter with all the butter they can burn on the bottom if you make a larger cookie. Flatten with a fork slightly and put a cinnamon heart on top. Bake at 350. for about 8 min. Keep checking the first batch they burn easily.
