Ingredients:
Ingredients:
1/2 cup margarine or butter
1 c. brown sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
18 pieces of bread OR 6 slices Texas Toast
6 eggs
1/3 c. sugar
2 tsp. vanilla
3 c. milk

Directions:
Directions:
Melt together the margarine/butter, brown sugar, and cinnamon over low heat. Add a little water to make it runny. Double this part if you like a lot of good stuff. Drizzle a little of syrup mix on the bottom of a 9"x13" pan. Layer 6 pieces of bread, drizzle syrup mix, another layer of bread, then drizzle syrup mix, then finally add a 3rd layer of bread and drizzle the rest of the syrup mix. Beat 6 eggs, 1/3 cup sugar, 2 tsp. vanilla, and 3 cups milk. Pour over the top, cover, and set overnight in the refrigerator. If you want the toast a little dryer and not so mushy, beat 4 eggs, 1/3 cup sugar, 2 tsp. vanilla, and 2 cups milk and pour over the top. Bake at 350º for 40-45 minutes. NOTE: You can use 1 layer of Texas Toast to make a single layer of French toast.
