"A man who was fond of wine was offered some grapes at dessert after dinner. "Much obliged," said he, pushing the plate aside; "I am not accustomed to take my wine in pills."--Jean Antheleme Brillat-Savarin, The Physiology of Taste

Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
This recipe is from my good friend Michelle Voeller. She is one of the best bakers and party throwers that I know. Our daughters were good friends and Anne's graduation party was a dessert themed party on a Friday night. Jaci's party was on Sunday. I called my friend Dee Dee on Saturday to see when I could come pick up the Champagne Cake for Jaci's party and she sadly told me she forgot to order it. I was stressed and Michelle came to my rescue delivering all her leftover desserts for me to serve at Jaci's party. Who needs Champagne Cake when you have one of her Cream Cheese Brownies! That is the kind of friend Michelle is!
