1 c sugar
1/2 c vinegar
1 c water
1/2 tsp turmeric
1 medium onion, chopped
1 c celery, chopped
2 c mayonnaise
1 lb twist or elbow macaroni
Directions:
Directions:
Cook macaroni and drain. Dissolve sugar in vinegar and water. Gradually, add vinegar mixture into the mayonnaise in a large bowl. Stir in the remaining ingredients; cover and let stand overnight in refrigerator. The mixture will be very soupy when first put together. The surprise will come the next morning when you stir the salad.
