3-3 1/2 Lb. Chicken (whole)
1/2 cup BBQ Sauce
Tbs. Dried Basil
2 tsp. Paprika
1/2 tsp. Onion Powder
1/4 tsp. Garlic Powder
3/4 tsp. Salt
1/4 tsp. Pepper
1/2 can of Beer ( I use Heineken for the shape of the can, it seems to hold the chicken up better.)

Directions:

Heat Grill, make the fire on one side of grill so you can add more charcoal.
Add BBQ Sauce to beer, slowly or it will overflow.
mix well Basil, Paprika, Onion Powder, Garlic Powder, Salt & Pepper.
Rub over Chicken.
Place the cavity of Chicken over the Beer Can so Chicken is sitting on the can.
Carefully place Chicken on center of grill, spread the legs to help stand Chicken upright.
Cover (Carefully) and cook 1- 1 1/2 hours.
Remove from grill and take care removing the beer can.
