Ingredients:
Ingredients:
12 oz. cream cheese, softened
1 cup (2 sticks) butter, softened
2 egg yolks
2 Tbsp. sweet cream
2 cups flour
1 tsp. baking powder
Filling- homemade or store-bought, such as Solo brand Prune or Apricot

Directions:
Directions:
Cream cream cheese, butter, egg yolks, sugar, & sweet cream together. Sift the flour, baking powder into creamed mixture; mix only enough to incorporate the flour into the mixture. Handle the dough only as much as needed. Roll the dough to 1/4-inch thick. Cut with a round cookie cutter. Fill each cookie with about 1/2 tsp. filling. Fold each cookie in half & pinch the edges to seal. Bake on ungreased cookie sheets at 350º for 25 to 30 minutes, or until light golden. Cool completely. Sprinkle with confectioner's sugar. (I sift the confectioner's sugar onto the cookies.) The cookies should be stored in an airtight container. They are best eaten the day they are made, but will be good later.
