1 c. sugar
1/2 c. shortening
1 c. pumpkin
1 t. soda
1 t. cinnamon
1 t. vanilla
2 c. flour
1 t. baking powder
1/8 t. salt
1 c. nuts, chopped
Directions:
Directions:
Cream shortening and sugar together well. Add pumpkin. Blend in dry ingredients. Fold in vanilla and nuts. Drop by teaspoonful on greased cookie sheets and bake at 375* for 8 - 12 minutes.
