Maple Pecan Bars Recipe

1 1/2 c. plus 2 T. flour
1 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. butter
1 c. maple syrup
2 eggs
1/2 t. vanilla
1/4 t. salt
3/4 c. pecans, chopped

Directions:
Directions:
Combine 1 1/2 c. flour with 1/3 c. brown sugar. Cut in butter until crumbly. Press into a greased 9x13 pan. Bake at 350* for 15 minutes. Meanwhile, combine remaining brown sugar with maple syrup in saucepan. Cook over medium heat 5 minutes. Remove from heat. In bowl, beat eggs with remaining flour, vanilla and salt. Gradually pour hot syrup into egg mixture, stirring constantly. Pour over baked crust. Sprinkle with pecans. Bake at 350* for 20 minutes. Cool in pan on wire rack.
