1 pkg. active dry yeast
3/4 c. warm water
2 eggs
2 Tbsp. sugar
2 1/2 c. sifted flour
1/2 tsp. salt
oil
confectioners sugar

Directions:
Sprinkle yeast and sugar into warm water, stir to dissolve and let stand for a few minutes. Break eggs into yeast and sugar. Then add flour and salt and stir until mixture is smooth. Cover and let stand in warm place until bubbly and doubled in size. Beat again and let double (the entire rising process will take about 3 hours). But dough can be kept longer.
Next, heat oil into deep frying pan to 400 degrees.
Drop dough by tespoonfuls into hot oil. Dough will make its own shape. Brown on all sides and drain on paper towels. When cool, sprinkle with confectioners sugar.
