"As I ate the oysters with their strong taste of the sea and their faint metallic taste that the cold white wine washed away, leaving only the sea taste and the succulent texture, and as I drank their cold liquid from each shell and washed it down with the crisp taste of the wine, I lost the empty feeling and began to be happy, and to make plans."--Ernest Hemingway

1 1/2 - 2 lbs. ground beef
1/2 c. Cracker crumbs
2 beaten eggs
1-8 oz. can tomato sauce
1 envelope dry onion soup mix

1 Tbsp. Dry mustard
1 tsp. tomato paste
2 tbsp. Water

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º. Mix top ingredients together and shape into a loaf, lay it on top of a Pam sprayed broiler pan. This way, as it cooks, the grease drains away from the meat and it's not being baked in grease!
Lay thick sliced bacon over the top tucking the ends under the loaf. Mix all glaze ingredients together and brush over top of bacon and meat loaf.
Bake for 1 hour and 15 minutes
