1/2 c. shortening
2 c. brown sugar
2 eggs, beaten
1 t. vanilla
2 c. flour
2 t. baking powder
1/2 t. salt
1 c. nuts, chopped
Directions:
Directions:
Melt shortening in large saucepan; add sugar and blend well. Let cool to lukewarm, then stir in eggs and vanilla. Blend in dry ingredients and then stir in nuts. Spread in greased 9 x 13 pan. Bake at 350* for 30 minutes. Cool.
