2 c. flour
1 t. soda
1/2 t. salt
1/2 t. baking powder
1 c. shortening
1 c. sugar
1 c. brown sugar
2 eggs
2 c. rolled oats
1 t. vanilla
1 package chocolate chips

Directions:
Directions:
Sift flour, soda, salt and baking powder together and set aside. Blend shortening and sugars. Add eggs. Beat until light and fluffy. Add flour mixture and mix well. Add oats, vanilla and chips. Drop by teaspoonfuls on greased cookie sheet. Bake at 350* for 15 minutes.
