2 pkg Yeast
1/4 C. Warm Water
1 T. Sugar


1 C. Milk
7 T. Butter or Crisco

7 T. Sugar
2 Eggs
1 tsp. Salt

4 1/2 - 5 C. Flour

Directions:
Directions:
Dissolve yeast in warm water with 1 T.. sugar. Let set for 5 minutes

Scald milk and add butter. (let cool)

Beat eggs, add salt and sugar.

Slowly add milk and yeast.

Slowly add flour 1/2 C at a time. Mixing well. Knead thoroughly and then place in buttered bowl. Refrigerate for at least one hour.

Split dough in fourths. Roll into pie shape about 1/8" thick. Spread with butter and slice into 12 wedges. Roll up like croissants, wide to narrow. Let rise until double and bake at 375º for 5 to 10 minutes.

Number of wedges depends on size of circle.
