2 - 8 oz 250 g Cream Cheese Blocks

2 T 30 mL Lemon Juice
1 T 15 mL Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp 5 mL Onion Powder
1 tsp 5 mL Garlic Powder
1 tsp 5 mL Dried Oregano
1 tsp 5 mL Dried Sweet Basil
1 tsp 5 mL Freshly ground Black Pepper
2 tsp 10 mL Red Pepper, finely minced
1/4 tsp 1.25 mL Cayenne Pepper

2 c 500 mL grated Cheddar Cheese

1. Bring Cream cheese to room temperature.
2. Measure lemon juice and Worcestershire sauce into small bowl.
3. Mix in dried herbs and spices, and allow to soak.
3. Using mixer, cream cream cheese until soft. Whip a bit to soften more.
4. Still using mixer, add paste of herbs, lemon juice and sauce.
5. Do not over mix. gently beat in 1 c 250 mL of grated cheese.
6. Remove mixer from bowl and clean off beaters, scraping cheese mixture into mixing bowl. Scrape all cheese into rough ball.
7. Please grated cheese into large bowl or tray.
8. Wet hands with cold water, and use to round cheese into semi smooth ball.
9. Roll wet cheese ball in grated cheese. Press cheese into surface of ball.
10. Refrigerate at least 1 hour, or until firm.
