6 slices of bacon
1 c. uncooked rice
1/4 c. chopped green pepper
1 medium sliced onion
1 t. salt
pepper to taste
2 c. water
1/4 c. ketchup
16 oz. can diced tomatoes, undrained

Directions:
Directions:
Fry bacon till crisp. Drain and crumble, reserve 2 T. of bacon grease.

Cook uncooked rice, onion and green pepper in drippings until onion is tender. Add and stir in remaining ingredients. Simmer covered 30-45 minutes or until rice is tender and liquid is absorbed.
