2 lbs. small onions
6 tbsp. butter
3 tbsp. all-purpose flour
1 1/2 cups milk
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Directions:
Directions:
In 1 inch of boiling water with 1/4 tsp. salt, heat onions to boiling for 10 to 15 min. until tender. Meanwhile in medium saucepan over medium heat, melt butter; stir in flour until smooth. Stir in milk & 1/4 tsp. salt. cook stirring until thickened. Stir in cheese; cook over low, heat stirring constantly until cheese is melted. Drain onions, place in serving dish, pour cheese sauce on onions & sprinkle with paprika.
