1 c. sugar
1 c. conf. sugar
1 t. cream of tartar
1 t. baking soda
1 c. oil
2 eggs
2 t. vanilla
1 c. butter
4 1/2 c. flour
Directions:
Directions:
Put all ingredients except flour into a large bowl and mix throughly. Add flour and mix well. Refrigerate 1 hour or overnight. Form into small balls. Dip in sugar and press down with a fork dipped in sugar (or glass bottom; greased and dipped in sugar). Bake on ungreased cookie sheet at 375* for about 12 minutes.
