3 Eggs (well beaten)
1/2 C. Sugar
1 C. Karo syrup (white)
1/8 tsp. Salt
1 1/2 tsp. Vanilla (real only)
1/2 C. Butter (melted-real only)
1 C. Pecans (whole)

Directions:
Directions:
Break 3 eggs in mixing bowl and beat with beater until frothy and well mixed. Add white granulated sugar and beat sugar until sugar is pretty much dissolved. Add the corn syrup, salt, vanilla and 1/4 C. of the melted butter. Beat again until well mixed. Line pie pan with plain pastry. Put Pecans on bottom of pastry. Pour mixture over pecans. Pecans will rise to the top. Pour remaining melted butter over the top of the pecans. Bake at 350º for 50 to 60 minutes. The nuts will make a crusty top on the pie.
