1 stick softened butter (room temperature)
2 cups chopped pecans
1 cup flour
vanilla
1 cup powdered sugar
1 (8oz) package cream cheese
1 large container cool whip
2 small packages French vanilla instant pudding
3 cups cold milk

Directions:
Directions:
Layer 1: Crust: in a bowl add 1 stick soft butter, cup chopped pecans, 1 to 2 drops vanilla and flour. Blend with a spoon. Press into a greased 13x9 inch baking dish. Bake at 350º for 20 minutes, let cool completely.

Second layer: Use 1 cup powdered sugar, cream cheese (softened), 1/2 teaspoon vanilla, and one cup cool whip. Blend by stirring with a spoon. Spread on top of cooled crust.

Third layer: Mix 2 small packages pudding with 3 cups cold milk. Add 1 teaspoon vanilla. Blend well until thickens. Pour over second layer.

Fourth layer: Pour remaining cool whip on top of third layer.

Add garnish to suit your taste - Coconut, grated chocolate, or red and green cherries for Christmas
