2 tsp. chicken bouillon
2 c. boiling water
1/4 c. carrot, grated
1/2 c. celery
3 tbsp. butter or margarine
2 tbsp. onion
4-1/2 tbsp. flour
1/8 tsp. pepper
1 c. water
1 c. evaporated milk
2 c. cheddar cheese, grated
1 jar pimiento
parsley

Directions:
Directions:
In small saucepan dissolve bouillon in water & add carrot & celery & simmer, covered, for 8 minutes.

In larger saucepan melt butter/marg. & saute onion until tender. Blend in flour & pepper, add water & stir until smooth. Add evaporated milk gradually & stir until thickened. Stir in bouillon/vegetable mixture gradually. Add cheese & cook over low heat until melted; don't boil. Add pimiento & garnish with parsley.
