2 Tbsp. corn syrup
1/2 c. butter
1 c. brown sugar
1 loaf of bread ( Italian or French are best)
5 eggs
1 1/2 c. milk
1 tsp. Vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Combine corn syrup, butter and sugar in small saucepan. Simmer until syrupy about 10 minutes
Pour into bottom of 9" x 13" casserole dish. On top place 12 or less bread slices. Beat remaining ingredients and pour over bread. Let stand overnight in refrigerator. Bake uncovered for 45 minutes at 350 degrees.
