1/2 c. (1 stick) butter
2 eggs
1 c. flour
1 c. sugar
2 tsp. almond extract
2 tbsp. sliced almonds
Powdered sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Melt butter in glass bowl in microwave. Using a fork beat the eggs into the butter. Add the flour, sugar, almond extract and mix well. Pour into a small (8 inch) pie pan or an 8 inch cake pan and sprinkle almonds on top.
Bake 45 minutes at 325 or until golden brown and a knife inserted near center and comes out clean. Let cool, then sprinkle with powdered sugar. Best served warm.
