Ingredients:
Ingredients:
2 cups flour
2 Tbsp baking powder
2Tbsp sugar
1 tsp salt
1 Tbsp oil or butter
1 cup of scallded milk, but if they can't have milk then just water

Or for a bigger batch
Ingredients:...
4 cups Robin Hood flour
3 Tablespoons Blue ribbon baking powder
3 tablespoons of lard
3 1/2 cups cool water
a pinch of salt

Directions:
Directions:
Bake in the oven in a greased pan.. at about 400 for about 20-25 min.. I always butter the outside of it after I remove it from the oven.. Don't cut it with a cold knife it will make it doughier.. just break it off..

Mix dry ingredients togther and crumble the lard in the flour mixture until there are no lumps...make a well, and put in cool water...sort of room tempertaure...take a fork...and sort of gather the flour around and mix in the water and turn the bowl as you mix...turning the bowl and gathering your flour into the water until it feels like a soft cake mixture..and water is sorta gone...put your fork down and use your hand and gather your fingers on the edge of the bowl and work in your flour more.....until it forms a soft dough...don't mix hard...as you are turning the bowl....take your dough out, and empty the flour remnants on the table and work your dough with the heel of your hand and turn.....then it looks like a soft bread dough...put on a flat pan and use your hands like knuckles down and spread your dough...into an oval sort of shape....softly...not hard...and spread it over your pan about 1 inch thickness...fork it(prick it with a fork)....and put in the oven for about half hour...I don't know why, but it tastes great when you let it stand for ten minutes on its side...
