3 to 3 1/2 c flour
1 pkg active dry yeast
1 c very warm water
1 egg
1/4 c sugar
1 tsp salt
2 Tbsp butter or margarine, softened
Filling:
Combine 3/4 c granulated sugar
3 tsp cinnamon
1/2 c butter or margarine, softened
1/2 c raisins, optional


Directions:
Directions:
In a large bowl, blend 1 1/2 c flour and next 6 ingredients. With mixer, beat 3 minutes at medium speed. By hand, mix in remaining l 1/2 to 2 cups flour. Knead on floured surface for one minute. Press or roll dough into 15 x 7 inch rectangle. Combine filling ingredients and spread over dough. Starting at longer edge, roll up tightly. Seal edges, cut into 16 to 20 rolls. Place rolls cut side down in 13 x 9 pan, sprayed with non stick cooking spray. Cover and let rise in warm place until doubled in size (about 1 1/2 hours). Bake at 400° for 12 to 15 minutes or until light brown. Watch closely so they don't get too brown. Allow to cool 5 minutes and then invert onto a rack.
