Ingredients:
Ingredients:
StickyTopping:
6 tbsp butter
3/4 c brown sugar
2 tbsp corn syrup
1/2 c pecan halves

Dough Filling:
1/3 c brown sugar
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/4 c chopped pecans
2 tbsp butter, melted

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375º. Grease a 9x9 pan.

NOTE: The dough for this recipe is the same dough as the Yeast Bread recipe...

For Sticky Topping: Combine butter, brown sugar, and corn syrup in saucepan. Stir over low heat until sugar is melted and mixture is smooth. Pour into prepared pan and sprinkle pecan halves over top.

When dough has had its first rise, punch down and shape into an 18"x 9" rectangle. Brush with 2 tbsp of melted butter. For dough filling, mix together brown sugar, cinnamon, and pecans. Sprinkle over dough. Roll up dough, starting with the long side. Cut into 9 slices and place in prepared pan. Cover and let rise until doubled in size, about 40 minutes. Place in oven and bake for 30 to 35 minutes. Allow to cool in pan for about 5 minutes. Invert onto a serving place and let stand about 1 minute before removing pan to allow the sugars to drain over the buns. Allow to cool slightly before serving.

Personal Notes:
Mom wasn't too much a sweet eater (unlike Dad!), except at breakfast and she loved Sticky Buns. This is a good recipe--tender dough with just enough topping.
