Personal Notes:
At the grocery store, I would remember that their were 5 main ingredients. On my list I would just write "soup". My family liked the vegetables as white shoe peg corn, green beans and carrots. This recipe originated from Jim's college roommate, Dennis Farrar. Dennis and Jim cooked the wonderful soup in their apartment at Holly Park. I learned to prepare it and cooked all the time for our kids and was also enjoyed by their friends. The original recipe is from Dennis' mom, Mrs. Doris Farrar.
