4 1/2 oz sharp cheddar, grated
2 tsp flour
2 tsp dry mustard
4 TB beer
4 thick slices of bread (preferably rye)

Directions:
Directions:
Turn broiler on low.

Combine cheese, flour, & mustard in saucepan over medium heat. Stir in beer. Stir until thick and creamy - do not boil!

Toast bread. Divide cheese between slices. Broil until just golden. Serve with cold beer.
