2 c apples, pared and quartered
1 c mild vinegar
1/8 t cloves
1 stick of cinnamon
2 c sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Combine sugar, vinegar and spices. Boil for 5 minutes. Add fruit and cook until tender. Pack in sterilized jars. Fill to within 1/4 inch of top with syrup.
