4 c peeled potatoes cut into 1/4" slices (about 6 medium sized potatoes)
2 tbsp flour
1 tsp salt
1/8 tsp pepper
3 tbsp butter or margarine
2 c milk, scalded
1/2 c shredded cheddar cheese

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease a 2 or 3 quart casserole dish.

Combine flour, salt and pepper in a cup. Put a layer of potatoes in greased dish and sprinkle with half of the flour mixture. Repeat. Put rest of potato slices on top and dot with butter or margarine. Pour scalded milk over potatoes and bake, covered, for 45 minutes. Uncover, sprinkle with shredded cheese, and return to oven, uncovered, for approximately 15 minutes or until potatoes are done.
