Directions:
Preheat over to 350 degrees. Put white uncooked rice in bottom of casserole dish.

Heat margarine, water and buillon cube in saucepan until margarine is melted. Add french onion soup and heat until buillon cube is dissolved. Pour mixture over the white rice. Cover casserole dish with lid or foil and place in oven.

Bake for about 30 minutes until liquid is absorbed and rice is tender. Add the can of mushrooms (with the liquid from the can) into the rice, and stir rice. Continue baking uncovered for about another 10 minutes until rice is tender.

Personal Notes:
Sometimes this recipe takes longer than others, it's strange. The thing to do is go by the liquid being absorbed before adding the mushrooms and making sure the rice is completely cooked and tender by tasting it before taking it out of oven. This recipe is great with steak.
