1/2 c, melted butter
1 c. flour
3/4 c. quick rolled oats
3/4 c. brown sugar
1 teas. cinnamon
1/4 teas. salt
4 c. chopped rhubarb
3/4 c. sugar
2 T. cornstarch
1 c. boiling water
1 teas. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Melt butter and cool slightly. Work in the flour, oats, brown sugar, salt & cinnamon until crumbly. Press 1/2 of mixture into 8" or 9" pan. (Double recipe if baking in a 9 x 13 pan). Cover with rhubarb. In small pan mix together DRY sugar & cornstarch, THEN stir in the boiling water and cook, stirring until thick. Remove from heat and add vanilla. Pour this evenly over the rhubarb. Sprinkle and pat remaining crumb mixture over top and bake at 325º for 50-60 minutes until golden and rhubarb is tender.
