Ingredients:
Ingredients:
3 potatoes
1 green pepper
3 carrots
3 celery stalks
1 onion
3-4 lb. roast or stew meat
1 can creamed soup, your choice.
Salt
Pepper

Dough
3 c. flour
1 teas. salt
1 1/3 c. lard
3/4 c. plus 2 T. cold

Egg wash
1/8 c. milk
1 egg

Directions:
Directions:
Slice: potatoes, green pepper, carrots, celery and onion
Cube: Roast
Mix these together with creamed soup, salt & pepper.
Mix the ingredients together for the dough. Makes a very wet dough. Roll out dough to small plate size. Put 1/3 c. meat and vegetable mixture in center of rolled out dough. Fold over to make moon shape, roll edges up and pinch closed. Poke 3 holes in the top. Bake at 350º for 1 hour.
The last 15 minutes brush the tops with the milk and egg mixture. This helps the crust brown evenly. Serve hot with gravy. I usually triple the recipe, bake and freeze individually. They reheat well.
