Directions:
Wash tomatoes. In large pan of heat water till steaming, not boiling. Drop tomatoes in till skin splits. About 2 - 3 minutes. Remove tomatoes and cool. Peal skins and cut out bad spots.
Quarter tomatoes and boil in large pan for 15 to 20 minutes bubbling.
In meantime, wash pint jars and get hot such as in dishwasher or oven. Put lids in boiling water to heat.
Put tomatoes in Pint jars with 1/2 t canning salt. Leave 1/2 inch room at top. Wipe tops clean. Put lids on and screw hand tight. Process tomatoes.
