4 c. sliced apples
1/4 c. sugar
1 T. lemon juice
1/2 c. honey
1/2 c. flour
3/4 c. brown sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 c. butter
1/4 c. nuts, finely chopped

Directions:
Directions:
Spread sliced apples in a shallow baking dish, sprinkle with sugar and lemon juice and pour honey over all. In a bowl, mix flour, brown sugar and salt; work in the butter, making crumbly mixture. Spread the crumb mixture evenly over the apples, top with nuts. Bake in 375º oven 30-40 minutes, or until apples are tender and crust is browned. Serve warm with light cream, ice cream, whipped cream with a dash of cinnamon or lemon sauce.
