1 cup butter
3 cups sugar
4 eggs
2 teaspoons soda
4 cups flour
1 cup buttermilk
10 cent bar of chocolate
1 cup boiling water
Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter & sugar; add in eggs, flour and buttermilk. Grate the chocolate. Mix 2 teaspoons soda into it and pour the cup of boiling water over it. Let disolve before putting into cake mixture.

Bake in 2 layers 25 to 30 minutes at 350 degrees.

Ice with Seven Minute Icing.

The recipe actually calls for a 10 cent bar of chocolate. I would plan on spending more.
