Ingredients:
Ingredients:
1 large cabbage
1/2 lb ground beef
1/2 lb ground pork
1/2 cup rice, raw
2 (8oz) cans of tomato sauce
1/2 cup water
1 onion chopped
2 eggs beaten
1 (10oz) can Rotel tomatoes
1 bell pepper chopped
bacon slices
salt and pepper to taste

Directions:
Directions:
Boil 3 quarts of water, add the cabbage whole and simmer until the leaves pull off. Drain cabbage or set aside carefully using tongs to remove leaves. On the back of the leaves is a rigid vein that should be shaved down to allow the leave to wrap without breaking.

For the stuffing, in a large bowl combine ground meat, ground pork, rice onion, bell pepper, tomato sauce, and Rotel. Mix with your hands and form a palm size roll of meat mixture, place into a cabbage leaf and roll tucking sides in to assure a tight roll. Place rolls into a bacon lined baking dish in a tight formation. If rolls are loosely done or not packed closely together they may come undone and meat filling will fall apart. Roll as many of these rolls as you have cabbage for layering in to a large heavy pot, using bacon between the layers.

Cover the rolls with water and bring to a simmer, cover and simmer for about 1 hour
