Banana Bread Recipe

1/4 cup oil
1 cup brown sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
1 3/4 cup flour
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
3 bananas, mashed
4 Tbsp buttermilk (or sour cream or yogurt)

Directions:
Directions:
Stir together oil and brown sugar. Add eggs and vanilla. Add flour, baking soda, and salt. Stir. Add mashed banana and buttermilk. Pour into 2 greased loaf pans. Bake 350º for 40 minutes.

Optional Topping: Saute all and pour on top of cooked bread. Broil a couple of minutes.
6 Tbsp butter
10 Tbsp brown sugar
5 Tbsp milk
Chopped pecans
