32-ounce package frozen hash brown potatoes, thawed
1/2 cup butter (2 sticks) melted
1 can cream of chicken soup
12 oz. American cheese, shredded
8 oz. sour cream
1 t. salt
1/2 small onion chopped
2 cups crushed corn flakes
1/2 cup melted butter

Directions:
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350º.
2. Place potatoes in 9" x 13" casserole dish.
3. Mix 1/2 cup butter, soup, cheese, sour cream, salt, and onions; pour over potatoes.
4. Top with corn flakes and 1/2 cup melted butter.
5. Bake uncovered for 45 minutes.
