1 2/3 cup plain flour
1 1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup melted butter (2 sticks)
1/8 t. salt
2 eggs, lightly beaten
2 T. almond extract
1 cup sliced almonds

Directions:
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350º.
2. Mix flour and sugar together.
3. Add butter, salt, eggs, and extract.
4. Spread into lightly greased 13" x 9" pan.
5. Sprinkle sliced almonds on top and press lightly into batter.
6. Bake 15-20 minutes until lightly brown (DO NOT OVER BAKE!)
7. Cool slightly and slice into 2" x 3" bars.
