2 1/2 cups sifted plain flour
1 t. baking soda
1 t. salt
3 T. cinnamon
2 sticks butter, softened
3/4 cup plain sugar
3/4 cup brown sugar
2 eggs
2 lb. chopped dates
1 cup raisins
2 cups chopped nuts (pecans, almonds, and walnuts combined)

Directions:

1. Sift flour, soda, salt, and cinnamon together.
2. Cream butter and sugars until fluffy.
3. Add eggs, then flour mixture (slowly), then fruit and nuts.
4. Roll into balls by tablespoonfuls.
5. Bake 7-8 minutes at 350º. DO NOT OVERBAKE.
6. Cool completely on parchment paper before storing in a tightly closed container.
