7 oz. semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 oz unsweetened chocolate
1/2 cup heavy whipping cream
3 T. butter, cut up into pieces
1/3 cup finely chopped nuts (hazelnut, almonds, pecans) (optional)
1 - 2 oz. liqueur (Amaretto, Kalua, Grand Marnier, rum, etc.) (optional)

TOPPINGS (choose what will go with the flavor of your truffles)
Finely chopped nuts
Sugar/cinnamon mixture
Cocoa powder
Be creative; you can use any kind of flavoring/liqueur and anything that will stick to the outside as a topping.

Directions:
Directions:
1. In food processor, finely grind chocolate and butter.
2. In saucepan, heat cream to boiling over medium high heat.
3. With food processor running, add hot cream, butter, and liqueur to chocolate.
4. Pour into small pan lined with plastic wrap, and refrigerate until cool and firm enough to cut (3 hours) or freeze one hour.
5. Lift firm chocolate from pan by plastic wrap.
6. Turn onto cutting board and cut into small pieces.
7. Roll pieces in your choice of topping.
8. Store in the refrigerator.
