CAKE
1 box white cake mix
1 cup vegetable oil
1 pkg. strawberry Jello
4 eggs
½ cup strawberry juice
1 ½ t. red food coloring

ICING
1 lb. confectioners sugar
1 stick butter
pinch of sale
¼ cup to ½ cup mashed strawberries (see instructions)

CAKE
1. Blend all ingredients in mixer at low speed.
2. Beat for 3 minutes.
3. Pour into 3 greased and floured cake layer pans.
4. Bake at 350º until done (25-30 minutes.)
5. Ice with strawberry icing

ICING
Blend sugar, melted butter, and salt with enough strawberries to obtain spreading consistency. Start with 1/4 cup strawberries and gradually add more until you obtain a spreading consistency.
